Our Story

The Inn is part century home (100+) and part new addition (2002). Purchased the summer of 2008 with great hopes of running a modern, comfortable and successful Bed and Breakfast.

With great excitement doors opened the summer of 2009 after an extensive renovation and update to the kitchen and dining room and with two rooms initially to offer guests.

Prior to purchasing I did quite a bit of traveling all across Canada. I noticed that there was a lot left to be desired at the big box hotels but did appreciate some of the amenities and conveniences that they provided compared to smaller establishments. So with this in mind I chose to very thoughtfully decorate, furnish and stock each room to ensure guests comfort was first and foremost and had everything a weary traveler might want. Over the next few years the remaining 6 rooms were updated, decorated, furnished and offered for nightly rental. In 2015 all 8 guest rooms were ready!

As the business has grown so has the family. I am blessed with 5 daughters and 2 sons. We love what we do and all the children greatly enjoy meeting our guests from around the world. We look forward to welcoming you into our home. May you enter as guests and leave as friends.
